Monkeys are Passe, Jackal found in CP
Is Delhi turning into an open zoo? As if monkey were not menace enough, bystanders spotted a jackal bang in the heart of the capital on Wednesday afternoon: Regal cinema in Connaught Place.

“The spot where the animal was found is barely a kilometer from the Birla Mandir ridge,” Satyanarayan told newsline. “It must have been forced out by the disturbances in side the ridge and entered the city.”
Satyanarayan said these incidents, as well as the ongoing monkey menace, are indicators of the lack of proper planning to rehabilitate animals. “While natural habitats of these animals are being replaced, there is no proper rehabilitation plan or policy.”
